My 21-Day Glow-Up Plan



The concept of the glow-up is hard for me. On the one hand, I really do like the process of evaluating my life to determine where I might be able to grow and evolve to be more fulfilled and healthy, but on the other, I really don't like the feeling that I am not enough as I am right now - that there will always be this perpetual ladder I have to climb to be a better version of myself.


It's tricky.


I don't want to fall into the traps of toxic perfectionism, but I also don't want to become complacent in life. Growth is fun to me and I enjoy the creative process of discovery and evolution.


I don't think there are easy answers. I know I have to dig deep internally to figure out ways to grow and evolve that feel healthy and whole to me personally - a sort of sweet spot that embraces both growth/evolution, AND self-love/acceptance.


I imagine this will be a life-long creative process that will involve many hits and misses along the way, but for now, this is the best I can come up with that will always feel true. I figure if I tell myself this for 21 days, I might actually start to believe it. :)


I'd say that the best glow-ups are the ones that involve some serious self-love brain rewiring.
