It's always a bit hard for me to let go of the magic of the holidays.
You know, saying goodbye to all those white lights and glittery sparkles isn't all that easy for some of us.
We put away the shimmer and shine and we're left with what can feel like a sea of nothingness (which can be a good thing for me for a minute...but only for a minute.)
Pretty quickly (it's January 2nd, so when I say pretty quickly, that is not an overstatement) I start to crave a little more magic again.
Enter the "inspiration phase" of my post-holiday slump and my current YouTube obsession, Refinery29's "Sweet Digs" series.
Ok, I know I am not 29 or anywhere near that anymore, but I'm the kind of person that refuses to let the number of birthdays I've had dictate my style and design passions in any way, shape, or form. In fact, I feel like it keeps life interesting when we pay attention to what younger people are doing (even though I still refuse to throw away my skinny jeans for a pair of mom jeans.)
Anyway, this series has really got me excited and inspired to add a little bit of fun and joy to my home for January (I'll do a post about that soon.)
In the meantime, take a look at a few of my favorite episodes and enjoy spending hours and hours obsessing over what people from New York to California are doing with their spaces and their money.
So.
Much.
Fun.
Happy home love!
Lots of love,
