Why I Will Never Stop Hanging Word Signs on My Walls

I've been seeing an attitude in the high-end design world lately that basically sticks a nose up at word signs.

And yeah, I think I could agree that the word "blessed" written in a farmhouse font has worn out its welcome.

But does that mean we need to throw the baby out with the bathwater?

I happen to think not.

Because words have power and art has power and when you put the two together, you have double power. :)

And seeing words on my walls on a daily basis really does help me remember what matters most to me.

It really does.

And honestly, who cares what the "top" designers think anyway? I kind of think this is why our homes can end up looking like an Ikea catalog, rather than a space that is unique, individual, and creative.

So go ahead and hang word signs on your walls.

Get creative.

Make your own signs using fonts and colors that reflect the exact style you love, with quotes or words that make your heart sing.

Because it's your home and you can do whatever you want.

Also, if you still hate words signs, that's cool too.

Just don't think that #blessed is the only option.

Lots of love,
